RETA quota rates update for 2020
Updating of the applicable contribution rates for professional contingencies and for cessation of activity of self-employed workers included in the special social security regime for self-employed or self-employed workers and in the special social security regime for seafarers .
The second transitory provision of Royal Decree-Law 28/2018, of December 28, for the revaluation of public pensions and other urgent measures in social, labor and employment matters, provided for a progressive increase in the contribution rates applicable for contingencies professionals and by cessation of activity of self-employed workers included in the Special Scheme of Social Security for Self-Employed or Self-Employed Workers and in the Special Scheme of Social Security for Seaworkers.
Specifically, during 2020:
Y For the contribution for professional contingencies, the contribution rate will be 1.1 percent.
And For the cessation of activity, the contribution rate will be 0.8 percent.
In accordance with the foregoing, it is reported that the General Treasury has proceeded to update the contribution rates that have been applied until the settlement period of September 2020, and that they corresponded to those foreseen for the year 2019 As a consequence of the aforementioned update, the installments corresponding to the period of October 2020 and later will be calculated with the new rates.
Regarding the regularization that should be made of the fees corresponding to the months of January to September, it should be noted that it will be addressed in the coming weeks and in due course the collection period will be reported in which the account will be charged for the corresponding complementary.
